​MICHAEL BULGER is a New York-based playwright and a member of the Dramatists Guild and The Work in Progress workshop. His writing focuses on family redemption (The Devil’s Portrait, Beautiful Deal), the weight of personal responsibility (A Lovely Wife), the burden of legacy (Heir Apparent), and the inspirations for artistic expression (The Anti-Muse, a play with no dialogue). He studied with Cassandra Medley at the Ensemble Studio Theatre Institute and was a finalist for the Wallace Bradley Johnson Prize.
