While studying and practicing Law in Glasgow, Scotland then establishing my childcare business, it never occurred to me that one day I would be living and writing plays in New York City! I like to think that all the years of education and business experience was practice for creating characters and dialogue in the most satisfying creative process in the world: writing plays! Since moving to New York I have had the pleasure of writing three full length plays and a number of one act plays. I am currently working on my fourth full length play, a process embraced, encouraged and challenged by the other writers of 29th Street Playwrights who are among the most accomplished and generous people I have had the pleasure of working with. 

On the Rocks was performed at the Strawberry Festival in New York City in 2014;
Light and Shadow was selected as the only full length play to be performed at the TRG Festival in 2015.
Light and Shadow reached the semi finals of the Eugene O’Neill Theatre Conference 2015.
                                                               The one act play, Legacy was performed in the New York New Works festival 2015.
