THE DEATH & LIFE OF DR. CUTTER by Carrie Robbins
Monday, April 3, 7 pm, at the Bernie Wohl Center.
Directed by Luke Tudball.

Dr. Cutter is very sick. Now he can see every minute of what's left of his future. A mortality tale. With songs.

The vaudeville format of the play with music was inspired by the observations of RD Robbins, MD, the playwright’s late husband, whose humor and medical knowledge permeates the piece.

Music composed and arranged by Shelly Gartner (The Adding Machine/6th annual TRU New Musicals Reading Series); Gartner will accompany on piano and keyboard, with Ed Conte on bass.  Lyrics by Robbins.

The company features a veteran Broadway cast: LORI HAMMEL (Broadway: Mamma Mia!, Natl: 9 to 5; Forbidden Broadway & album; Film: Coen Brothers' Burn After Reading; Season 2 of Master of None); BEN LIVINGSTON (Broadway: 1 Man, 2 Guvnors, The Heiress, Mama Mia; TV: The Knick; House of Cards); NEAL MAYER (Broadway: Les Miz; Mark Felt Superstar & Berlin to B'way at York; Disney's Hunchback of Notre Dame;  TV: Late Night w/ Jimmy Fallon); and ERIKA ROLFSRUD (Good People/CT Critics Circle Award, Best Actress; The Little Dog Laughed /Kevin Kline Award, Best Actress; Broadway: Coast of Utopia, Rabbit Hole, Exit the King; TV: House of Cards).
