As a designer, Robbins has spent years designing costumes on Broadway & Off, here & abroad. In 2012 she received the TDF/Irene Sharaff Lifetime Achievement Award for her body of work. In 2011 she became only the 2nd costume designer to be honored with a Monograph of her work (Amazon.com/ Drama-Bookshop/NYC). She has several Tony nominations, 6 Drama Desk Awards, Maharam, Henry Hewes, L.A. Dramalogue, Audelco, Salmagundi Fine Arts, 3 Prague Quadrennial, among others.

THE DEATH & LIFE OF DR. CUTTER by Carrie Robbins Monday, April 3, 7 pm, at the Bernie Wohl Center. Directed by Luke Tudball. Dr. Cutter is very sick. The vaudeville format of the play with music was inspired by the observations of RD Robbins, MD, the playwright’s late husband, whose humor and medical knowledge permeates the piece.
