The Michael Warren Powell Memorial Reading is presented by the 29th Street Playwrights Collective to support the work of a playwright outside the collective to commemorate the work of the late Michael Warren Powell, now and in perpetuity, whose work as the beacon of light at the Circle Rep Lab was an inspiration and a model for Emma Goldman-Sherman and so many others working in the theatre today.
