The 29th Street Resident Artists are a diverse group of writers who come together on a weekly basis to write together, discuss form and support one another's work. With monthly readings at the Dramatists Guild Fund, the group offers a nurturing environment in which to hear new work read aloud by actors, often for the first time. Constructive feedback and discussion helps the playwright to build on and edit new plays until they are ready for their first staged reading in the New Works Series.
